NCS AEO Online M&E Reporting System

Launch of the Nigeria Customs Service AEO Online Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Reporting System

NCS Editor, February 9, 2026February 9, 2026

As the Nigeria Customs Service AEO Programme continues to expand in scope, participation and impact, proactive and structured Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) has become essential to sustaining achieved gains and strengthening the Service’s commitment to supply chain security and improved ease of doing business.

To support this objective, the AEO Team has launched an online M&E Reporting System for collection of data-driven feedback from AEO-certified companies. The platform captures insights on operational and procedural challenges, clearance times and predictability, trade facilitation efficiency and measurable benefits such as cost savings and revenue optimisation. It also collates AEOs’ experiences with Other Government Agencies (OGAs) involved in the cargo clearance and trade facilitation process.

Through their designated client relationship managers, AEOs are able to share practical feedback based on real transaction experiences thereby supporting evidence-based assessment of programme performance and reinforcing transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.

Call for Participation

All AEO-certified companies are encouraged to actively participate by completing the online M&E Report Sheet. Consistent and objective feedback will inform future programme enhancements and help ensure that the AEO Programme continues to deliver meaningful facilitation benefits while supporting Customs’ regulatory and revenue objectives.
